Sophie E. Szopa Art Scholarship (SESAS)
The Sophie E. Szopa Art Scholarship is offered on an annual basis to highly qualified student(s) who plan to continue their education in the field of art. One or two scholarships will
be offered each year in the amount of $4,000. Recipients may apply for a renewal of their grant for a maximum of three years beyond the initial award year by requesting a renewal and sending a copy of their college transcript to the scholarship committee.
All applications must be typewritten and be accompanied by two letters of recommendation (one from your art teacher and the other from your guidance counselor).
Applicants must provide an official high school transcript and write a brief essay.
